The household experiences one life.
Jeannie Mansill has spent thirty-five years in human services and thirty-one years building and leading Project Unity.
Families did not come to Project Unity with one isolated need. They came with housing stress, childcare barriers, health concerns, job instability, food insecurity, legal issues, family responsibilities, transportation problems, trauma, and hope — all at the same time.
Built in 2004
Jeannie created Intake1 to solve the problem she was seeing every day: households needed to be understood as whole households before they were divided into programs. Since 2004, Project Unity has operated Intake1 across eight programs, fifty employees, and eleven funding streams.

Twenty-two years of operating the idea.
Project Unity has used Intake1 across eight programs, approximately fifty employees, and eleven funding streams. The operating model includes a prescribed Assessment, First Case Note, shared documentation, fund codes, Business Office entries, reports, supervision, duplicate prevention, and data-quality controls.
That history demonstrates that Intake1 is a working system. It does not substitute for the independent demonstration now being requested.
